Our policies are designed to ensure the well-being of students and maintain the high standards of our institution. Parents, guardians, and students are requested to carefully read and adhere to the following guidelines.

📌 School Day and Attendance

• The school day begins with a prayer at the assembly. Students must be present at the assembly and line up immediately when the first bell rings. After the assembly, students will proceed to their classrooms in silence.

• Students must be present on the first and last day of the school year.

• A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory for all students.

• If a student is unable to attend school due to illness, parents must inform the school within two days of the absence, rather than waiting until the student returns.

• If a student remains absent for more than two days due to illness, a medical certificate and prescription must be submitted to the school authorities.

• All absences and late arrivals must be recorded with a valid reason in the school’s regularity record. Private or personal reasons may be communicated through a written letter.

• If a student remains absent from school for more than two months without any valid reason, prior information, or written application, the school reserves the right to cancel the student’s registration.

• Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, or behaviour that negatively affects the discipline or moral environment of the school will be dealt with strictly.

• Stealing, cheating, or using any unfair means during tests or examinations is strictly prohibited.

📌 Fee Payment Policy

• Clearance of applicable school and bus fees is mandatory for receiving the admit card before tests and examinations.

• Monthly fee payment is permitted as per the school’s approved payment schedule.

• If school and/or bus fees remain unpaid for three consecutive months, the student may not be issued an admit card for examinations.

• If school and/or bus fees remain unpaid for three consecutive months, the school reserves the right to cancel the student’s registration/enrolment after following the applicable school procedure.

• School fees must be paid through the designated bank or online payment gateway.

• No fee payments will be accepted directly at the school, unless specifically authorised by the school office.

• Admission charges paid for hostel students/hostellers or day boarders are non-refundable under any circumstances.

📌 Hostel & Pocket Money Policy

• Students residing in the hostel must follow all hostel rules, disciplinary standards, schedules, and instructions issued by the school and hostel authorities.

• If a student leaves the hostel during or before completion of the academic session, any remaining balance of the student’s pocket money maintained with the school/hostel will be returned or settled after the end of the respective session, subject to adjustment of any legitimate outstanding dues.

📌 Language and Behaviour

• English must be spoken at all times within the school premises, on the school bus, and, wherever reasonably possible, at home.

• Students must behave courteously and respectfully towards teachers, staff members, visitors, and fellow students at all times.

• Disrespectful, abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

• Politeness, kindness, cooperation, and friendliness should prevail among students.

📌 Discipline and Disciplinary Action

• All students are expected to maintain proper discipline and conduct inside the school, on school transport, during school events, excursions, competitions, and other activities organised by the school.

• The school reserves the right to suspend a student in cases of repeated acts of indiscipline or repeated violation of school rules.

• In cases of serious or grievous disciplinary misconduct, the school reserves the right to rusticate, remove, or terminate the enrolment of a student, subject to the school’s disciplinary procedure and decision of the competent school authority.

• Serious misconduct may include violence, bullying, theft, deliberate damage to school property, serious disrespect towards staff, possession of prohibited items, repeated cheating, or any behaviour that threatens the safety, discipline, or reputation of the school.

• The decision of the competent school authority regarding serious disciplinary matters shall be applicable in accordance with the school’s prevailing rules and procedures.

📌 Classroom and Break Time

• Students are not allowed to remain inside classrooms during breaks or games periods unless instructed by a teacher or in case of rain or other exceptional circumstances.

• Students must obtain permission from the concerned teacher before leaving the playground or designated activity area.

• Nail polish, chewing gum, and other unnecessary distractions are not permitted in school.

• Students are responsible for taking care of their books, stationery, uniforms, and other belongings.

• All personal belongings should be clearly labelled with the student’s name.

• Breakable objects such as glass bottles should not be brought to school.

📌 Personal Belongings and School Property

• Valuable items, including unnecessary cash, jewellery, expensive accessories, or other valuables, should not be brought to school.

• The school will not be responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings brought by students.

• Any deliberate or negligent damage to school property must be repaired or compensated for by the responsible student/parent or guardian.

• No collections, fundraising activities, ticket sales, or similar activities may be carried out without prior written permission from the Principal or authorised school official.

📌 Uniform and Grooming

• Students must attend school in the prescribed full school uniform.

• Students should maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene and must come to school neat and properly groomed.

• Hair should be clean, neat, and properly combed in accordance with the school’s grooming standards.

• Silence and discipline must be maintained while changing classrooms and during movement between periods.

📌 General Conduct

• Students must address teachers, staff members, and school authorities with respect and politeness.

• Parents and visitors are not permitted to meet teachers during class hours without prior permission or an appointment arranged through the student’s diary or school office.

• Parents should not enter or visit their child’s classroom during teaching hours, as this may disturb classroom discipline and academic activities.

• Early Dismissal: No student will be permitted to leave the school during class hours without a valid written request from the parent/guardian and approval from the authorised school official.

📌 Prohibited Items and Activities

• Mobile phones, cameras, smart devices, and other unauthorised electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited in the school unless specifically permitted for an educational activity.

• Students must not bring any item that may cause distraction, injury, disturbance, or risk to other students or school property.

📌 Leave Policy

• Absence from school will generally not be permitted for reasons such as birthdays, weddings, feasts, personal excursions, or extending school vacations.

• Exceptions may be considered for genuine medical emergencies or other exceptional circumstances approved by the school authorities.

• Students are expected to attend school regularly and should avoid absence for private or non-school-related matters.
